Tired of being second best.
Tired of being the one you run to when there's no one else to fill the void.
Tired of being taken for granted.

I find myself the only one pursuing thoughts of fondness, actions of love.
Am I not worth it? Am I not as close to your heart as I once thought?
True, many may be there to pick up the pieces,
Pieces of the feelings you left shattered, hanging by a thread.

Then why is it that the one person I truly feel for,
The only one I am seeking casts me aside and only returns when convenience makes itself known?
Fighting to make this work, it's all one way.

Don't tease me with false intentions of longing.
